With the availability of rooms from existing and new hotels, guest houses, bed and breakfast establishments, as well as Delhi Development Authority (DDA) flats will be met.<br><br>The Master Plan for Delhi─2021 provided substantially relaxed norms for construction of guest houses in terms of road width, plot size and permissible area to increase availability of accommodation. She said that during the current year, Rs 112 crore has been released so far as against allocation of Rs 100 crore in the budget this year. “North East region receives our utmost attention, ten per cent (union budget for tourism) is allocated for North East,” added Selja. <br><br>While development and promotion of tourism was primarily undertaken by the state governments, Ministry of Tourism provided financial assistance for projects under 'Infrastructure development of tourism destinations/circuits'.
