-------------------------------------------------------

1. PICTURES
Ask people if they would e-mail a picture with their
testimonial. If they don't have one scanned you could
have them send their picture by mail and you could
scan it. This technique will give your testimonials more
credibility.

2. ELECTRONIC SIGNATURES
Most online testimonials you see have text signatures.
You could have people mail their written signature,
scan it, and upload it with their testimonial. People
will feel the testimonial is more official.

3. ONLINE AUDIO
You could record people's testimonials with a mini tape
recorder over the phone, on your answering machine,
or voice mail. Then you could convert the recording
into a online audio file and upload it to your web site.
You can find more information about converting audio
recording's by typing "real audio" at a search engine.

4. POSTCARDS
Have people mail you their testimonial on a postcard,
scan it and upload it to your web site. This will give
people proof that the testimonial isn't fake because
it will have a post mark on it.

5. PROFILES
Ask people to include a profile of themselves with their
testimonial. You could just have them answer some
questions like age, occupation, hobbies, favorite quote,
etc. This will make your testimonials more entertaining
to read.

6. HAND WRITTEN LETTERS
This is similar to the "electronic signature" tip. Scan
and upload the entire written testimonial or letter to
your web site. This will give your testimonials a feel
of realism.

7. RECORDINGS
You could record peoples testimonials over the phone
with a mini tape recorder. Then, take the recording
and record it to an answering machine or voice mail
system. Under each one, include a phone number they
can call to hear the actual testimonial.

8. E-MAIL MESSAGES
When you get e-mail testimonials, publish the entire
e-mail message instead of just the contents. It will be
more believable because it will include the date, time,
subject, who it's from and who it's to.

9. CONTACT INFORMATION
When you get testimonials from people, ask them if
you could include their contact information under the
testimonial. This will allow potential customers to ask
your current customers questions about your product
or service before they buy. Usually, they will trust
them more than you.

10. ONLINE VIDEO
If some of the people who give you testimonials have
a camcorder, ask them to record their testimonial on
video and send it to you. Then you could convert the
video to an online video file and upload it to your site.
You can find more information about converting audio
recording's by typing "real video" at a search engine.

A Secret to Reduce Hunger and Burn More Calories

    Curb Your Cravings
Daily Tip for Wednesday, November 18, 2009

A Secret to Reduce Hunger and Burn More Calories

Moderation is key when it comes to healthy eating. Unfortunately, keys get misplaced and we end up with an empty box of cookies and a stomachache. Lucky for us, a nutrition professor from the University of Rhode Island found the sugar-free secret to reducing hunger and burning more calories—chewing gum before and after eating.

In the study, volunteers who chewed gum for three 20-minute sessions in the morning ate 67 calories less during lunch. It may not seem like much, but if you're consuming a 400-calorie lunch, that's almost 17 percent fewer calories. The good news doesn't end there—when participants chewed gum before and after meals, they also burned 5 percent more energy.

10 Ways To Make Your Online Testimonials More Believable

    Posted: 18 Nov 2009 08:13 AM PST

    Hi Shailesh,

    Today's feature article is:

10 Ways To Make Your Online Testimonials More Believable

    Read it below!

10 Ways To Make Your Online Testimonials More Believable
Copyright © Stone Evans, The Home Biz Guy
    http://www.PlugInProfitSite.com/main-25172

    1. PICTURES
Ask people if they would e-mail a picture with their
testimonial. If they don't have one scanned you could
have them send their picture by mail and you could
scan it. This technique will give your testimonials more
    credibility.

    2. ELECTRONIC SIGNATURES
Most online testimonials you see have text signatures.
You could have people mail their written signature,
scan it, and upload it with their testimonial. People
will feel the testimonial is more official.

    3. ONLINE AUDIO
You could record people's testimonials with a mini tape
recorder over the phone, on your answering machine,
or voice mail. Then you could convert the recording
into a online audio file and upload it to your web site.
You can find more information about converting audio
recording's by typing "real audio" at a search engine.

    4. POSTCARDS
Have people mail you their testimonial on a postcard,
scan it and upload it to your web site. This will give
people proof that the testimonial isn't fake because
it will have a post mark on it.

    5. PROFILES
Ask people to include a profile of themselves with their
testimonial. You could just have them answer some
questions like age, occupation, hobbies, favorite quote,
etc. This will make your testimonials more entertaining
    to read.

    6. HAND WRITTEN LETTERS
This is similar to the "electronic signature" tip. Scan
and upload the entire written testimonial or letter to
your web site. This will give your testimonials a feel
    of realism.

    7. RECORDINGS
You could record peoples testimonials over the phone
with a mini tape recorder. Then, take the recording
and record it to an answering machine or voice mail
system. Under each one, include a phone number they
can call to hear the actual testimonial.

    8. E-MAIL MESSAGES
When you get e-mail testimonials, publish the entire
e-mail message instead of just the contents. It will be
more believable because it will include the date, time,
subject, who it's from and who it's to.

    9. CONTACT INFORMATION
When you get testimonials from people, ask them if
you could include their contact information under the
testimonial. This will allow potential customers to ask
your current customers questions about your product
or service before they buy. Usually, they will trust
    them more than you.

    10. ONLINE VIDEO
If some of the people who give you testimonials have
a camcorder, ask them to record their testimonial on
video and send it to you. Then you could convert the
video to an online video file and upload it to your site.
You can find more information about converting audio
recording's by typing "real video" at a search engine.

    SECRETS TO PEACEIssue 322-09November 18, 2009

    Dear welcome,

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    * Opportunities
    * Where and Why
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Where and Why

Reading from The Wisdom of the Lotus
    Sutra, I recently encountered these
words from Daisaku Ikeda: "All human
endeavor is inspired by the effort to answer
the questions: Where do we come from? Where
are we going? Why are we here?"

Examining any one of these questions I could
fill volumes just in the searching I have
performed over the last fifty five years.

Look around today and it is easy to find
groups dedicated to examining or offering
answers to one or all of these questions. I
have met some people who absolutely knew the
answers to all these questions; satisfied
that their truth was the Truth.

I feel happy for them. They are no longer
tortured like those who seem incapable of
reaching any conclusions (yet still feel
driven to ask the questions.) The mind likes
    conclusions. It detests dangling
uncertainties. The human mind would rather be
certain, at the risk of being proven wrong
later, than uncertain, in an open-questioning
mode. There is comfort in certainty,
regardless of the factual basis for the
    assuredness.

Personally, I do not believe most of my life
was spent pondering any of Ikeda's questions.
For the first twenty one years of my life I
just wanted to know how to "be small;" how to
do what I was supposed to without getting
into trouble. The more invisible, I proved to
be, the less stress I felt. I do not recall
having any questions which were more profound
than "what is the safest for me in this
    situation?"

Then I discovered drugs and alcohol. I still
did not have any questions, which I recall,
similar to Ikeda's, but now I had found a way
out of the chains that my previous questions
caused. Of course, being afraid of breaking
the rules, I now had new questions, such as:
"How can I do this party thing and not get
    caught?"

My life at this point did not consist of any
profound search for the meaning of my
existence, only logistical questions like how
I could score and how I could avoid
    detection, needed my examination.

I never really asked myself, or another, an
honest question concerning the nature of my
existence, until I met a man in Korea who
introduced me, to some Eastern teachings. The
thoughts I encountered changed my questions,
    although not right away.

It was just over four years later when I had
a look in a mirror, following a particularly
hard-partying weekend, and asked myself, "Is
this what I am here for? Is this all there is?"

At age thirty, I began to question why I was
here and where I was going. I still did not
wonder much about Who I was or Where I came
from. I had pretty well accepted that I was
the physical offspring of my biological
    parents, end of story.

For the next twenty-plus years, I studied
everything that was placed in front of me on
the nature of my being and how one finds
their calling in life. A few close calls with
death and I began thinking I had been spared
to do something, or at least that my work
(whatever that was) was not complete here on
    Earth.

With my recent heart challenge I once again
have been asking "Where am I going from
here?" So, while my life did not start out
with Ikeda's questions foremost in my
awareness, they have certainly motivated my
quest for meaning for the last twenty five years.

Today I do not really have any answers. I
often share what I think and I expect that
    to continue, if I
    keep writing this blog.

Today I simply love the mystery.

I love the fact that I will leave the house
in a few minutes and I have no clue who I
will meet and how we will change each others
    lives.

I love the fact that I am embarking on a new
endeavor but history has shown me that the
direction I think I am heading may create a
    journey I can not foresee.

Do I have a reason for being here?

I do not know, but I promise myself to live
this day like my soul's mission is to be an
Emissary for Love to all I encounter. Life
has taught me that this "high" is better than
any escape vehicle I ever experimented with.

Do I know where I am going?

Beyond my next, immediate, move I do not have
a clue. This voluntary uncertainty adds a
great excitement to my life. It keeps me open
to a meandering and explorative curiosity
which makes every day a treasure, waiting to
    be ravished.

Do I know where I came from?

I believe I always have been and always will be.

    I believe that I Am.

    For me, that is enough.

Burn 60 Calories An Hour By Doing Nothing

Give yourself a standing ovation! The average person can burn 60 calories an hour just by standing. Ditch the chair and try to incorporate more standing into your life when possible and the calories burned will add up over time. Try standing while you're on the phone or watching your kids play at the park. The next time you're in a long line at the grocery store, think of all the calories you're burning.
